If you have your 2007 Income Tax Return completed by Patrick Rowan and Associates the lodgement dates can vary with extensions being given up to 31st May 2008. Company Income Tax Returns The taxable situation of the company determines the lodgement date for companies. Please contact us to discuss your lodgement. A REMINDER TO... Pay Super Contributions By 28th. Superannuation guarantee contributions for the quarter are due by the 28th day of the month following the end of the quarter. Even if you contribute more frequently than quarterly, you must pay all contributions for the quarter by the 28th day of the month following the end of the quarter. If you do not pay contributions for this quarter by the 28th day, a Superannuation Guarantee quarterly statement must be lodged and the Superannuation Guarantee charge paid to the Tax Office. Annual GST Returns. If you have elected to report and pay GST annually, your annual GST return is due the same day that your income tax return is due to be lodged. This also applies to businesses claiming a refund of GST annually. If you lodge your own tax return, you should have done this by 31st October. If you are not required to lodge an income tax return, the due date for your annual GST return is 28th February in the year following the end of the financial year.
